For this artwork I used 3 different glazes with the first one being hot tamale the second one is blue yonder and the third is shiny black. Building this was fairly easy I rolled it out and cut it to size then eye measured where the lines should be. After that I took a protractor to trase the D on there and then used a stencil to put duramax on there. Then finally i put the stars on and went over it with the blue yonder glaze.
the pot on the left was my first pot I made. I didnt smooth the coils out so I made the one on the right and that didnt quite work the greatest. The glazes I used on the first one is mopiac blue, arctic splash and opaque white. and the second one I just used arctic splash.
I decided to make my roller look like blocks on a building. I think it turned out pretty well because it looks fairly accurate.
making the pots were very easy the glazes i used are glow worm, shiny black, and spring green. when i was making these pots i was using develop and craft because i was trying to learn how to use the tools we made. I was also using observe because there was a bunch of little cracks that i had to fill to make it nice and smooth.
